Delimitation Commission, Kerala, Order No.: SDC/169/2024/SDC3,Thiruvananthapuram, 15.05.2025 Whereas, as per Notification No. LSGD/PD/24269/2024 EER1 dated 06.09.2024, published by the Director (Rural), Local Self Government Department, in Extraordinary Gazette No. 2888 dated 07.09.2024, the number of seats to be filled by direct election in Kavilumpara Grama Panchayat of Kozhikode District was fixed at 17; and on that basis, draft proposals for dividing the said Grama Panchayat into that many constituencies and determining the boundaries of such constituencies were published vide Notification No. SDC/169/2024/SDC3 dated 18.11.2024;And whereas, time until 04.12.2024 was allowed to submit objections and opinions regarding the said proposals, and the objections and opinions so received were investigated, the complainants were heard in person, and the same were considered and disposed of; Now, therefore, in accordance with Section 10 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, the final order is hereby issued dividing Kavilumpara Grama Panchayat into 17 constituencies and determining their boundaries as shown in the schedule attached herewith.
