Kavilumpara Grama Panchayat 2025–2026 Annual Plan Statement
As part of the 14th Five-Year Plan of Kavilumpara Grama Panchayat, the annual plan report for the financial year 2025–2026 primarily emphasizes the following development sectors:
Key Project Sectors
- Agriculture: Priority has been given to projects such as fertilizer application for coconut trees, distribution of banana and vegetable saplings, and intercrop distribution to increase agricultural production.
- Animal Husbandry: Distribution of heifers and layer chickens will be implemented for farmers. Additionally, importance is given to public health programs such as anti-rabies vaccination for stray dogs.
- Health: Allocations have been made in the plan for implementing Health and Wellness activities centered around Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and sub-centers, medicine distribution for the extreme poor, and palliative care.
- Fisheries: The "'Muttathoru Meen Thottam' (A fish garden in the courtyard)" project has been included to promote household-level fish production.
- Welfare / Waste Management: Funds have also been allocated for sanitation and social welfare activities, such as the LIFE housing scheme for Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities, placement of bins in public places, and uniforms for the Haritha Karma Sena (Green Action Force).
